Verity Lite ("the app") analyzes chat exports you choose to upload (WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, and similar platforms) to surface communication patterns and a health score. This page explains what happens to your data.
The chat file you upload is parsed and analyzed entirely on your device, inside the app. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or sent to any server we operate — there is no backend for chat content. The analysis runs locally using on-device pattern-matching and, for iMessage exports, a local database reader (also on-device). We do not retain a copy anywhere, and we do not see the contents of your chats.
You do not need to create an account or sign in to use the app.
The app uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to process the one-time "Unlock Full Report" purchase. When you make or restore a purchase, the following is shared with those services — never your chat content:
Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by Google Play and are never seen by us. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for how they handle this data.
The app requests internet access, used only for: (a) the billing/entitlement calls described above, and (b) loading a web font. It does not request access to your contacts, SMS messages, call log, location, camera, or microphone. Chat files are selected manually by you through the system file picker — the app does not read files on its own.
Since chat content is never stored by us anywhere, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Uninstalling the app removes all locally-processed data from your device. To manage or delete data associated with your purchase history, contact Google Play support or RevenueCat directly.
Verity Lite is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
